This fresh focus follows organizational reforms at the publicly-funded organization, including the stepping down of its ex-leader last month after both staff concerns and ministerial calls for strategic overhaul.

The fresh initiative comes amid increasing worry about Britain's vulnerability to online disruptions and online threats.
